Tangle Free Waters Environmental Awareness Plan

We rely on the environment for everything we need – the air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat, and much, much more.

The Tangle Free Waters environment education awareness plan is an effort to make environmental issues made aware to the general public. We want to make society aware of people and companies attempting to help the environment through their own environmental initiatives and do our part in promoting these acts to protect our waters and the environment. Our goal is also to teach people about the dangers of plastic pollution in our waters through informative articles published weekly on our blog.

We also aim to educate communities through the installation of our recycling bins which include education pieces of information attached to them regarding the wildlife affected by pollution and the benefits of recycling.

Our Environmental Education Awareness Plan will focus on 3 main points:

1.  THE OCEAN:
To know the ocean, its shorelines and its inhabitants. To understand how the ocean affects everyone everywhere on earth.

2. PLASTIC POLLUTION:
To understand marine debris, (specifically plastic pollution) where it comes from, how it happens, how it travels, and the environmental and ecological impacts.

3. MARINE WILDLIFE:
To determine and learn which species are affected the most by plastic pollution. To understand what we can do to help species endangered by pollution in our waters and create action plans to protect these species.

Together we can inspire environmental change by educating unaware communities about the dangers of pollution in our waters and providing them with the tools to recycle instead of pollute!
